Keep your veins healthy and get deep with tissue detox with this mango lime green smoothie. It contains ingredients that strip away layers of mucus and helps improve energy levels and mental clarity.

Green smoothies are a great way to detox your organs and help alkalize the body. They contain a high concentration of chlorophyll, which initiates detox by helping to alkalize the system and rid toxins we acquire from the food we eat and the environment we live in.

Kale and spinach also contain a high level of vitamin K which is necessary for better vascular health and fewer varicose veins. Ginger is also a beneficial ingredient to help blast through the tiny capillaries of the body and help get rid of stagnation in the circulatory system (which often results in varicosis).

If you are new to drinking green smoothies, you may feel a bit “off” in the beginning (perhaps some slight dizziness or nausea), however this is simply a minor side effect of the detox process, and should go away after a few weeks. This is a natural method of your body trying to get rid of toxins.

Mango Lime Green Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

– 3 cups ripe mango
– 1 cup packed kale
– 1 cup packed spinach
– 3 medjool dates, pitted
– 1 celery stalk
– 1 cup coconut water or regular filtered water
– 1 inch ginger root

Method:

Stick all of the above ingredients in a blender and blend for 30-60 seconds or until smooth. Enjoy!
