Fresh, organic wheat grass juice with cut wheatgrass on wooden background

These wheatgrass flu shots are your answer to improved immunity and better health this winter season. Wheatgrass is one of the most effective healers, containing over 90 minerals, all 17 amino acids (building blocks of protein), and vitamins A, C, E, I, K and B-complex. It is also composed of 70% chlorophyll, which is one of the best blood-builders out there. Need I say more?

Just 2 ounces of wheatgrass has the nutritional equivalent of five pounds of the best raw organic vegetables. It helps to alkalize the body, neutralizing acids that, when not neutralized, result in a higher chance of catching the cold or flu.

Typical vaccines contain hazardous ingredients like aluminum, MSG, formaldehyde, thimerosal and egg protein – gross! Not only that, but a lot of people who get the flu shot end up getting sick anyway, so really, what’s the point? If you take proper care of your body, there is no reason why you should catch the flu, and if you do end up catching the flu, a healthy body should recover in no time.

So instead of injecting needles into your body with foreign substances, try these shots instead!

Lemon Wheatgrass Flu Shot Recipe

– 4-5 cups of wheatgrass
– 1/2 lemon, peeled
Optional: 2-3 celery stalks, 1/2 cucumber, 1-2 inches fresh ginger and turmeric

Run the above ingredients through a juicer and enjoy!

Did you mean 4-5 Cups or Shots?

As stated in the recipe I say 4-5 cups of wheatgrass. I mean literal wheatgrass, like when you chop it off the base of dirt you're growing it in. Not wheatgrass juice – that's what will happen when you run it through a juicer.

Hello Carly, I do 4oz shots of just wheatgrass, i built up to this I've been doing this for 2 weeks now and it makes me so sick I gag and almost vomit during and after I drink them, are there any pill form that is equivalent to the shots? I am doing this because i have cancer. Do you have any suggestions?

I think this is just a detox reaction from the body. You may also have parasites, as parasites despise anything green and highly oxygenated (like wheatgrass). I'm not sure what else to suggest – maybe mix with some freshly squeezed orange juice? Blend in a smoothie?

Hi Craly! I ended up buying wheatgrass in a powder form and have been drinking it everyday. I mix it with my organic carrot juice. Is this okay? Will I get any of the same nutrients and benefits of wheatgrass in the powder form versus the literal wheatgrass?

While fresh will always provide you with more vitamins and minerals, if the powder form is all you can get, it is better than nothing! 🙂
