Strawberry Ginger Banana Smoothie

Relieve nausea and upset tummies with this strawberry kiwi banana smoothie! I’ve used this smoothie to help ailing friends and family when their stomachs and heads aren’t feeling too great.

Relieve nausea and upset tummies with this strawberry kiwi banana smoothie! I’ve used this smoothie to help ailing friends and family when their stomachs and heads aren’t feeling too great.

Why does it work?

Ginger is one of the oldest known remedies that provides excellent nausea relief! Ginger promotes the secretion of digestive juices and enzymes that help neutralize stomach acid and calm the intestines. Bananas are also incredibly soothing to the lining of the digestive tract, and can help prevent the dreaded waves of nausea that inflict many individuals experiencing illness.

Make your tummy, or a loved one’s tummy, a happy one by making this smoothie!

Strawberry Ginger Banana Smoothie Recipe

 

Strawberry Ginger Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

– 2 ripe frozen bananas
– 1 cup organic strawberries
– 1 cup peeled and diced kiwi
– 1 inch ginger root
– 1 cup young thai coconut water (or regular water)

Method:

Stick all ingredients in a blender and pulse blend until well combined. Enjoy!
