Give the drains in your body a boost with this powerful lymph booster juice!
The lymphatic system is the body’s internal drainage system, which is designed to rid your blood of acidic and toxic waste (the lymph system filters these toxins into our body’s major detox organs, the liver and kidneys).
For detoxification, it is important that the detox channels of the lymphatic system are open so that your body can regulate proper toxin removal from the body. If the lymphatic system is congested, the toxins will simply remain in your system, which can manifest as a host of different chronic diseases, including cancer.
This juice is rich in chlorophyll, which helps purify the blood, and in turn, cleanses the lymph. Citrus fruit like grapefruit and lemon also have wonderful astringent properties, which increase lymph flow and remove any blockages.
Another important ingredient in this juice is burdock root, which stimulates detoxification of the lymphatic system. It is also a natural blood cleanser, and it can help your body ward off a host of different ailments. It is a potent anti-inflammatory, and contains a host of beneficial antioxidants.

The best time to drink a juice is on an empty stomach! Morning is always best, but mid-day between meals will also work.

I had early stage breast cancer and it’s my understanding I should not consume grapefruit. Are there any other citrus fruits which can be substituted? Also, where in the word would I find burdock root? I’ve never seen it but searching Amazon you can get lots of capsules and you can buy dried burdock root. Would these be an appropriate substitution?
Carly Fraser says
Hey Jocelyn. You can substitute the grapefruit for oranges if you like. I’ve found burdock root at different health food stores, but I’ve also harvested it wild, and have found it at Asian food stores as well. You can get dried burdock root off Amazon and make it into a tea as well. You can’t really substitute burdock root for anything as the health benefits are very specific to that plant.

The receipt for the lymph system is easy to get the items. Would the recipe need to repeat every day or can I drink off of the one-time juicing a few days?
Carly Fraser says
Yes, you can stagger the juicing days.
