Instead of opting for the flu shot this winter (which has a host of negative symptoms that come along with it), why not mineralize your body and provide it with the vitamins and antioxidants it requires to keep the immune system strong and healthy?
As the colder months start to take over, people are much more prone to getting sick. This is largely due to the fact that the food we eat isn’t as fresh (a lot more imports than local food), and of course, a major diminish in how much sunlight our body receives (less vitamin D).
Thankfully, our bodies are equipped with this magical thing called an immune system, which when supported properly, can provide our body with its own natural healing powers. If you give the body what it needs, it will handle anything that’s thrown at it.
Unfortunately, most people consume a Standard American Diet (SAD), which severely lacks important minerals, vitamins and micronutrients that keeps the immune system healthy and strong.
Juicing is a great way to get in minerals and other crucial nutrients. This juice is designed specifically for the support of a healthy immune system. It will protect your body from the sickness of the winter season and reduce your risk of getting the flu or the common cold.
You can drink as much or as little of this juice as you like. The recipe makes one full serving, which you can drink throughout the day, or in the morning. If you’re trying to improve your immune system or fight off a flu, you can make up to 3 servings, and drink 3 times a day!
Ingredients: (serves 1)
– 5 medium sized carrots
– 2 apples
– 2 cloves garlic
– 1 bunch parsley
– 5 ribs of celery
– 1 lemon, peeled
– 2 inches fresh ginger root
Method:
Run all of the above ingredients through a juicer, and enjoy immediately!
Love your philosophy. I have excessive mucus that eventually leads to bronchitis. I have one question. I don’t have a juicer but I have a Vitamix. If I use that will I still reap benefits. I know it includes the pulp not just the juice. I want to do this right because the mucus is a very big problem. Thank you for you❤️
The juice will help ease digestion so that the body can work on healing other areas of the body. You can use your vitamix, and then strain the pulp with a nut milk bag!
Hi, I'm a 69 year old man, medium build. 5'7". I've been a pretty strict, though not 100%, organic vegetarian since 1973, and, I have gout. I've read and reread, heard about and heard about and tried black cherry juice, celery seed capsules and this and that remedy and formulas from goutcure.com and am just coming off of a terrible, horrific, debilitating gout flare up with pain beyond description for the last 6 to 8 weeks. I'm also a veteran and I wasn't surprised when the VA was not much use. I'm now seeing a "civilian" rheumatologist who has me on the same western drugs as the VA doc only in a little different dosage and that's working!! It seems that the western pharmaceuticals is the onl thing that does work. Diet is so contradictory and hearsay that it's completely crazy making. Gout is inherited. I'm shopping for a blender to make healthy juice and headed toward a more alkaline diet. I'd appreciate any comments you might wish to make or questions you may have. I'm also plagued with depression disorder, ADD, ad PTSD; not taking any drugs except a little cannabis once in a while. So the less complicated the better. Thank you for your time and consideration. I'm looking forward to your reply.
Sincerely, Andrew Rosenthal
Hey Andrew, have you ever tried giving up dairy? Dairy is a huge contributor to inflammation in the body. Same with wheat. Try going vegan plant-based, gluten-free and drink plenty of water every day (at least 3-4 litres daily). Make lots of green juices and smoothies, and eat plenty of salad. Greens will be your best friend.
hallo, do you have juice receipt for autism for 8 year old
Sorry, I don't have any specific juice recipe, but anything that includes plenty of greens would help.
