1). Is it the fruit or the leaves (to make tea) that really contain the acetogenins (chemical that destroys the cancel cells)? I think I am asking that right. It does not seem clear to me in what was written if the leaves of the tree or fruit. A lot of comments about the fruit but then the references to cancer treatment are the leaves. Do you know enough to be specific?
2). Is there are reason people intermix graviola, soursop, graviola, soursop, guanabana and corrosol? Are you assuming they are different plants? We don't call an 'apple' the fruit and then rename the tree. Yet, it seems your article will call the fruit soursop and the tree graviola. Why? I ask as it seems confusing in terms of classification or understanding.
Hey Chris, I believe most of the research done on soursop comes from the leaf, but there are also studies that prove the fruit is beneficial as well. In many countries, people use the bark, leaves, root, and fruit of this tree for traditional remedies.
