If you’re trying to normalize your blood sugar, stay away from refined sugar and products made with refined sugar (cake, cookies, pies, other desserts). Drink 3-4 litres of water a day. Stay away from refined carbohydrates like bread, etc. Lower your intake of fat to no more than 15% a day, and start including more whole plant-based foods. I am not a doctor, so I can’t tell you how to normalize your A1C levels, but nutrition will be your best friend when trying to balance blood sugar levels.
