Beets are a serious powerhouse vegetable, especially if you want to build your blood. This blood-building beet juice recipe contains high amounts of iron that regenerates and reactivates our red blood cells, helping to supply fresh oxygen to the body. Conveniently, beets also contain high levels of copper, making the iron more readily available to the body.
This juice will also help inhibit the formation of cancer-causing compounds, thanks to the amino acid, Betaine in beets. It is also a great solvent for dissolving inorganic calcium deposits in the arteries, which often leads to atherosclerosis. And if you want to naturally lower your blood pressure, beet juice will do it.

Hi carli ,
Does it have to be raw beetroots? And doesn’t eat cooced or better steamed beets the same job?
Thankx for coming back to me
Peter
Hey Peter – studies have been done that show the beneficial nutrients in beets essentially disappear after the beet has been cooked for over 5 minutes. I only ever suggest juicing raw beets – you can’t really juice a cooked beet!
How often should you drink the beer juice?
I personally drink it every couple of days. If your iron levels are really low, try doing it every day to get them back up.
What kind of juicer do you recommend?
I have been using the Omega NC800 since day one, and I love it!
thank you for all your information on beet juice I am anemic with low iron, your information will help me improve. be blessed
Are pickled beets good to raise red blood count?
Raw beets will always be superior, but pickled beets will help too.
