Fruit-Infused Detox Water

Upgrade your H2O this summer with this fruit-infused detox water. It’s the perfect way to hydrate, and will encourage you to drink more water!

Drinking citrus and berry-based waters help to alkalize the body, flush out toxins, improve skin quality and strengthen the immune system. By drinking more water, you’ll help boost your metabolism, cushion your joints, remove waste, regulate your body temperature, improve nutrient and oxygen transport to your cells, and so much more. Water is involved in so many bodily processes, that it’s a MUST in any diet.

This simple fruit infused water is incredibly inexpensive, tastes amazing, and will beat any “vitamin waters” you find in stores. I like to keep a large pitcher of infused water in my fridge at all times.

Also, try to use organic produce, considering the outside peel of the citrus components are what give this water so much flavour!

Ingredients:

– 2 litres of water (and a large pitcher that fits 2 litres)
– 1 lemon, thinly sliced into rounds
– 1 lime, thinly sliced into rounds
– 1 orange, thinly sliced into rounds
– 1/2 cup of strawberries, sliced in half
– 1/2 cup of blueberries
– 1/4 cup blackberries
– couple sprigs of mint

Method:

Place the water and fruit into a large pitcher and let sit in the fridge for 1-2 hours or overnight. Add ice cubes just before serving. I would normally drink 2 of these in a day for a total of 4 litres of water. Enjoy!

All bottles are unbranded with smooth, generic shapes and blank labels. The liquids inside are glossy and translucent, giving a polished retail look.
