Skin-Clearing Beet Juice RecipeIf you’ve been searching for a natural way to get rid of eczema, psoriasis and acne, then this skin-clearing beet juice recipe is just what you need! Many people who experience painful and annoying skin conditions often have congestion of the bowels, liver and kidneys, our main detox organs. When these organs are clogged with toxins, our skin bears the brunt of the toxin-elimination process. So, instead of toxic matter being eliminated through bowel movements or urination, it gets eliminated through the skin, manifesting as problematic skin conditions.

Thankfully, there are ingredients to help that. Foods like beets, parsley, ginger and lemon, all play a role in helping filter the blood to help ease strain on kidneys, and help heal liver toxicity. The betalain pigments in beets support Phase 2 detoxification in the body, which happens when toxins become bound to other molecules so they can be efficiently excreted from the body. When your detox organs are functioning properly, clear skin will follow!

Skin-Clearing Beet Juice Recipe

Ingredients:

– 3 large beets
– 1/2 cup burdock root
– 1 bunch parsley
– 4 celery stalks
– 2 apples
– 3 inches ginger root
– 1 lemon, peeled

Method:

Run all of the above ingredients through a juicer and enjoy!

Every person is different, it may takes a few weeks, to a month, to a year. Depending on how dedicated you are to cleaning out your diet and incorporating foods to help heal the body.

Hi Danita, drinking this juice at least once a day, also include some healthy fats like avocado, chia seeds, hemp seeds for the cerebral palsy and for skin as well. Follow plant-based diet, drink plenty of water.

    Hi Carly,
I have terrible scalp eczema that is giving me shingles from stress.
I am going on your beet juice recipe…I love beets by themselves and am eating them right now in fact
I have been eating an avocado a day for months now and I read it was a no no for eczema. What is the truth.
I believe in your drink….can I have nothing but this drink for a week? And then add a bit food slowly?
I am an all or nothing person!

No you can drink this in combination with other foods. I would try eating plant-based for a couple weeks to a month to see if that helps your skin. Get rid of dairy and wheat/gluten specifically, and drink this juice!

Can you eat gluten free oatmeal? I am suffering with eczema and psoriasis terribly! I read don’t eat this or yes eat this. I am getting so weak and ill from starving myself and this disease is getting worse. I don’t eat dairy, sugar or red meats.
I wish there would be menu ideas of what to have especially for breakfast!

Why not try going vegan, plant-based for a month and see how your skin is doing? Skin issues are often an issue with the liver or kidneys, so look into dandelion root and burdock root, as well as milk thistle, and juice as much as you can.

Should it be raw beets and should the burdock root be fresh? I'm only seeing dried or powdered in health stores.

Yes, raw beets and fresh burdock root. Burdock root can be found at Asian food stores. Raw beets can be found everywhere.

There isn’t much you can substitute for burdock root. The nutritional profile of burdock is very unique to that plant.
