Pink lemonade was always more special than yellow. It didn’t matter if it tasted the same, pink was the way to go. Even as adults, we never outgrew our fondness for pink lemonade, but now instead of relying on crazy chemicals, we use fruit juice and ALOHA Berry Daily Good to achieve a beautiful magenta hue. We also infused our lemonade with lavender for a lovely herbal kick.
– 2 cups water
– 1/4 cup stevia
– 2 tablespoons agave nectar (or honey)
– 3 tablespoons dried lavender
– 2 cups lemon juice
– 4 cups water
– 1 lemon sliced
– 1 packet ALOHA Berry Daily Good
– 1-2 tablespoons beet or blueberry juice (Blueberry juice will make the colour more purple, play around with what you like)
Mix together two cups water, stevia, agave nectar, and the dried lavender in a pot and turn on a low heat until it starts to simmer. Let steep for about 15 minutes, and then muddle the lavender with the back of a spoon. Strain out the lavender and pour the sweet lavender mixture with the rest of the ingredients. Add a couple of tablespoons of beet juice to make a beautiful pink color and chill! Sweet sipping!
