Apple ginger juice has always been one of my favourite juicing recipes by far. It can be quickly made for breakfast in the morning, or you can use it as a mid-day snack to help balance blood sugar and tie you over until dinner.
This juice recipe I decided to add in a little something different: fennel!
Why do I love fennel? It helps aid in digestion and helps make our bodies smell incredible. Fennel helps stimulate bile flow to help relieve gas, cramps and bloating. Similarly, ginger aids digestion by stimulating the digestive fire, helping to release enzymes that break down food nutrients so they can be more easily absorbed. It is also a potent anti-inflammatory (thanks to strong compounds called gingerols), and so this juice is great for anyone suffering from arthritis and osteoarthritis.
So go ahead and give your tummy a little digestive help, and your body some ache-soothing relief by making this juice today!
