What I like most about this water is that it contains mint. Not many people consume mint in their day-to-day lives, but it is an incredibly beneficial herb. It helps prevent colorectal cancer and atherosclerosis thanks to its high salicylic acid content, and also reduces food borne pathogens.

Lemon Mint Ginger Water Recipe
– 4 cups water
– 2 inches fresh ginger root, cut into little pieces
– 1/2 lemon, cut into slices
– 4 sprigs fresh mint
Stick the ginger, lemon and mint in the water in a large mason jar. Let sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour or over night. Enjoy!
