Maca is one of the most powerful superfoods in the world! It has the ability to regulate thyroid function, balance hormones, increase libido, relieve stress, among a multitude of other health benefits.
Maca has a positive effect on energy, stamina and mood, which helps lower levels of anxiety and depression. It is also one of the best food sources for helping regulate the endocrine system, and thus nourishes and supports the adrenal hormones. It is so effective that it can even repair exhausted adrenal glands.
Women with under-active thyroids (aka. hypothyroidism) should also use Maca. It can completely reduce an individuals dependence on thyroid medication after using it for just 2-3 months (just 1 teaspoon a day!).

Maca Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients: (Serves 1)
– 6-10 medium fresh strawberries
– 1 banana
– 1-3 tsp. maca powder
– 1/4 cup rice or almond milk
– 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
– 1 tsp. flax seed oil
– 1 C ice cubes (if you want a cold drink)
