Have you noticed that we live in a world of shoulds?
We should eat healthier, we should workout more, we should make time to meditate, we should read more.
Many of us are shoulding all over ourselves everyday.
What happens when we stop shoulding ourselves and start taking action?
We get lasting and massive results.
Why do we should our pants everyday? Because we don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.
(I know that last “should” didn’t make sense, but I couldn’t help myself)
The light at the end of the tunnel is something called homeostasis. Homeostasis makes it easy for us to maintain results IF we give it enough time.
By definition, homeostasis is the body’s ability to physiologically regulate its inner environment to ensure its
stability in response to fluctuations in the outside environment.
That’s just a fancy way of saying the body does what it can to stay the same and consistent.
For example, homeostasis works to keep our body temperature around 98.6 degrees fahrenheit. It also works to keep our body consistently at the same body mass index.
This makes sense right?
I’m sure with a normal routine you stay about the same weight, give or take 5-10 pounds.
What if your new normal was at the exact weight you want to be at?
There in lies the secret to how being sexy gets easier over time.
If we can put our heads down, work hard and create the exact body we want and maintain it for 3-4 months, then keeping that body gets exponentially easier. It’s easier because the body wants to be stable. It wants to create a baseline or a normal. That is the whole idea of homeostasis at work.
Unfortunately, most people don’t know about this whole homeostasis thing. That’s why yo-yo diets are so common. People try to get results for a short period of time, see some results and then go back to their old ways before giving their body time to establish a new baseline.
What do we do about this?
Just. Keep. Going.
Find a proven nutrition and exercise program, hit it hard until you get the body you truly desire and then maintain this program and body for at least 12-16 additional weeks. That my friend is how you create a new baseline.
This is exactly what I did to go from a pudgy 247 pound boy, to a lean, chiseled 195 pound professional fitness model. (Yea I just called myself chiseled… so what?)
This may sound daunting at first, but I am going to do you a solid and get you 10% closer to your dream body by providing you with the correct strategy.
How? I am going to give you my $99 course on creating your dream body for FREE. Why? Because I am fed up with the shoulds. Through my own experience and the experience of dozens of people that I’ve coached, it has become apparent that anyone can sustain the results that they desire if they establish a new state of homeostasis.
Being sexy really does get easier over time. All you have to do is create your new normal and you’re there.
The principles I have described above are the same principles that bodybuilders and other professional physique models use to help them maintain six pack abs all year long for decades straight. Yes, they are eating healthy and exercising consistently, but they are also not killing themselves to stay lean. Their body has settled into a state of homeostasis where it’s comfortable at a very low body fat percentage.
Action Items:
Here is what you NEED to do if you want to experience the results described above.
1) Sign up for the course: https://www.udemy.com/thinkandeatrich/?couponCode=ThinkFree
2) Stick with it until you see the results you desire. It may take weeks, months or sometimes over a year, but then you get to live the rest of your life in your dream body (sorry I can’t do the internet marketing BS and guarantee a six pack in 10 days, depending on how much weight you have to lose it really can take anywhere between a couple weeks to over a year.)
3) Stay relatively strict with your new healthy lifestyle until you’ve had the body you desire for an additional 12-16 weeks. Do NOT back off until you’ve made it through this time period – this whole article was to point out the importance of this.
4) Slowly take your foot off the pedal and enjoy your sexy body while maintaining a generally healthy lifestyle.
If you have any questions at all or just want to give me a virtual high five for giving you this course you’re welcome to shoot me an email at [email protected].
